Al Fogher Restaurant, Camponogara, Ve

The building lies in a rural area at the outskirts of a small town near the Riviera del Brenta, not far from Dolo. The project establishes a visual and dialectic relationship with the surrounding countryside through reusing/retrieving/ and reinterpreting traditional elements: large window, portico, eaved roof. Two volumes of different height, lie against a third higher volume at the rear. Of the two buildings facing by the road, one includes the main entrance and the kitchens and storage, and the other hosts the dining hall that overlooks the countryside to the south; the building at the rear contains the kitchens and the owners’ apartment. The neat organization of the inner spaces reflects the clear organization of volumes.
