Social Housing, Ipes Casanova, Bolzano

Social Housing, Ipes Casanova, Bolzano
The project was conceived for a competition concerned with social housing within one of the blocks of the Casanova neighbourhood in Bolzano. The urban planning was drawn up by the Dutch Architect Frits Van Dongen. The project follows the urban plan guidelines and draws on them to define the new volume. The buildings retain an austere character, lightened and enlivened by the use of three different types of openings and a diverse range of materials and colors. The larger windows and the loggias in the living areas face south. The windows of the sleeping areas to the northern become smaller.
Project Competition, first place for expenses reimbursement
Date: 2005
