FdG house

Casa FdG, Firenze
The project is conceived as a philological restoration of a small house from the XVII century located in the center of Florence. In the middle of the last century, the building was expanded through the addition of two new volumes. The project intended to respect the building while maintaining the sequence of previous interventions. The historic areas, recovered with a conservative intervention, host the house’s main areas, while the more recent areas host the kitchen and the bathroom.
