Day Care Centre, Kindergarten, Primary School
Resia 1, Bz
The project deals with the construction of a day care centre, a kindergarten and a primary school in an area located on the edge of the city of Bolzano. Its development is based on an urban plan that indicates the rules of the new intervention. The project assumes these rules as a reference to define its elevation profile. The complex consists of two separate buildings, a primary school, a kindergarten/day care centre. The two buildings have a different nature: the elementary school has orthogonal forms and is in continuity with the buildings of the district; the day care centre and the kindergarten have a "free" plan, characterized by the alternation of concave and convex walls that connects the building with the open forms of the urban park at the rear.
